Lower Antelope Canyon was even more beautiful than the photos online. The slot canyons are narrow, winding, and filled with vibrant orange and red sandstone curves. Our Navajo guide was extremely knowledgeable about the geology and local history. We visited in the morning and caught amazing light beams coming through the canyon walls. Highly recommend booking in advance—it’s one of the best guided tours we’ve ever done!

We were traveling through Page and booked the Lower Antelope Canyon tour on a friend’s recommendation. The hike was easy to moderate with a few ladders, but our guide helped us every step of the way. This part of Antelope Canyon is perfect for families and photographers. It’s less crowded than Upper Canyon but just as magical!

As a landscape photographer, I’ve always wanted to capture the flowing lines and textures of Lower Antelope Canyon. The tour allowed plenty of time to take photos, and the guide even pointed out the best angles for lighting and shadows. The rock formations looked like waves frozen in time. If you love nature and photography, this is the canyon to visit

Upper Antelope Canyon is exactly like the photos you see on Instagram. The iconic light beams around midday were surreal. The canyon is wider than Lower, so it’s great if you’re looking for a less physically demanding walk. Our tour guide was fantastic—shared Navajo stories and helped everyone take amazing photos. We brought our kids to Upper Antelope Canyon and it was the highlight of our Southwest road trip. The terrain is flat and easy, and the whole experience felt magical. The sandstone walls were glowing in shades of orange, gold, and purple. The tour was very organized and safe. Definitely worth every penny.

If you’re visiting Page or Lake Powell, Upper Antelope Canyon is a must. It’s more crowded than Lower, but for good reason—it’s stunning. Our guide was a local Navajo who gave us deep insight into the geology and cultural meaning of the canyon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for Upper Antelope Canyon guided tours.

We had kids and seniors in our group, and the Upper Antelope Canyon tour was perfect for them. It’s a flat, sandy walk and the guide was so helpful in showing us how to take the best photos. I booked this after searching for accessible Antelope Canyon tours, and it lived up to all expectations.

Upper Antelope Canyon is everything you see in postcards—and more. The famous light beams were visible around noon, and our guide timed it perfectly. It’s a shorter walk than Lower, but equally stunning. If you’re comparing Upper vs Lower Antelope Canyon, I say do both if you can.
